If the government bails out every company that has made bad business decisions will that make us a socialist nation? I mean if they can not run their companies and make money let them go under. If the big three car makers go under someone will start a new car company, is that not how the big three became the only three? Nash used to have a car company and they went under same with Edsel and Studebaker. There was no talk of bailing them out and letting them waste more of our money just to go broke again in a few years, cut wages, cut the bonus program for the employees and cut your expenses. Sell that Jet they they flew to Washington in. Make your company work within your sales or go broke. NO BAILOUT for the car companies or any other company, do not waste our money.

The price of gasoline has went under the $2.00 level and I for one hope that it stays there for a long time. I have no hope that it will stay at this level but I can hope, right?  At the level it is now I can make a few buck more than I was on my delivery business and my drivers can afford to come to work, I have had a couple say that they just could not afford to drive to work and drive their own cars to make their deliveries. It is a shame when a person can not afford the gasoline to drive to work and we pay our drivers a good wage for a part time job, more than a lot of people make for a full time job and only have to work half the hours.

The election is over, finally.  It seems like this mess has went on for a decade not just a couple of years. I think the new President will do fine as long as he does not go in and try to change everything just to being making changes. Change is good as long as it improves the situation, change for change sake is a bad thing as far as I am concerned, and I hope Obama is smart enough to let some things stay the way they are and got mess with the few things that this nation has that are still working. Bush has to rank as our very worst President and I am very glad that we will have a new leader in a few months.

Man am I ever glad that Halloween is over for one more year, we had a lot of kids this year and we had a lot of fun decorating the yard, but the dogs hate the doorbell ringing and I was trying to work during the excitement and that is not easy. We have a lot of fun with the holidays and with no kids at home it makes it pretty dull around here unless you make your own fun. Sometimes fun is where you make it and we try to live our lives that way.

It looks like the weather for the Monday Night Football game will be nippy. I will have to bundle up to keep from freezing the low looks like it is going to be in the 20’s before the game is over. The next three night look to be the coldest of the year so far and I for one am not ready for it to be this cold already. I like the weather to be mild till after Christmas and then I am ok with the cold weather it is still warm enough most of the time to do outside stuff and I am not ready to be stuck inside at night yet.
